Palliative and End of Life Care Champion's Programme, 14/04/2026, 08:30 - 12:30, DKLT, STRIVE, JCUH

DKLT, STRIVE, JCUH

This training will explore neurodiversity—what it means, and how it affects patients, their families, and the staff caring for individuals who are palliative or approaching the end of life. The session will provide ample opportunity to reflect on how neurodiversity relates to clinical practice and discuss practical strategies to best support neurodiverse individuals.

The session will be led by Dr. Hannah Williamson, Lead Clinical Psychologist for Neurodiversity within the Trust.

In addition, there will be a dedicated session on recent developments in palliative and end-of-life care, including an overview of the new NECN Palliative and End-of-Life Care Symptom Control Guidelines (2025, Sixth Edition).
