Dr Kitty Jackson is a Consultant in Palliative Medicine working in South Tees. Kitty has a wealth of experience in managing patients towards the end of their life. She is also an Honorary Research Fellow at the Wolfson Palliative Care Research Centre at Hull York Medical School. This session will address some of the challenges that clinicians experience when recognising patients who may be dying, the consequences of not recognising the patient who may be dying and provide some helpful tips and suggestions to help clinicians to get this right.
