Room 8, STRIVE, JCUH

Target Audience – The sessions are aimed at senior nurses working at band 6 or above – who are completing or may need to complete DNACPR forms as part of their extended role.

Anyone who wishes to enrol for the DNACPR training must complete the Deciding Right’s e-learning prior to attending. A certificate will be issued on completion of the e-learning course. This training can be accessed via the link below.

Delegates must also have a written agreement from your line manager which outlines that the completion of a DNACPR form is appropriate to your role and is reviewed as part of the yearly SDR process.

The session will include communication in relation to DNACPR – principles are the same whether in community or the acute setting, legal considerations, practicalities of completing the DNACPR form – the same for community and acute setting and some case scenarios.
