This training is for Registered Nurses, Midwifes and Nursing Associates to become New Practice Assessors under the NMC SSSA standards (2018)

You must be qualified at least 12 months to book onto this course and have completed the Preceptorship programme.

Please contact your Trust PPF on email stees.practiceplacement@nhs.net to clarify your requirements under the NMC SSSA standards if required.

Ensure that the information you complete on the booking form is correct as all sessions are confirmed by email (please do not use Hotmail accounts).

Part A: Catheterisation

Step 1:

Step 2:

Complete the assessment via MS Forms by clicking on the following links below.

You have a maximum of three attempts to pass, you need a pass mark required of 80% or 8/10 to move on to the face-to-face training.

 

Step 3:

On completion of the e-learning training you MUST take a screenshot of your results with your name visible.

You will need to upload this screen shot onto the below MS Forms

Catherisation Part B: Booking your practical session.   – Fill in form

Once you have uploaded your screenshot you will be able to select which date you wish to attend.

Upon completing the MS Forms a member of staff will be in touch to confirm your 35 minute practical session.

please note upon  attending the practical session you will need to complete the designated competency pack/s (please see attached)
