These sessions are facilitated by the South Tees medical psychology team. Each of these embedding sessions will enable us to further develop the skill of emotion regulation using the How Am I? toolkit that was introduced on the Preceptorship introductory day.
Using real scenarios brought by group members, in our discussion we will consider how this tool can be used in the workplace, alongside other psychological models and resources, to help staff to manage the stresses and demands of work. As the sessions progress, we will also use the tool to reflect on interactions with patients, colleagues, and whole teams.
Each embedding session will build upon the previous one therefore it is necessary to attend the sessions in sequence.
